Dr. Anderson received acupuncture training from Prof. John Boel in Denmark. Mr. Boel invented the Acunova acupuncture technique a few decades ago and he became a reference in acupuncture ophthalmology treatment throughout Europe.

How many treatments do I need ?
Vision acupuncture is composed of 20 treatments done in a 2 week time frame. Breaking down in 2 treatments a day with 1 hour break in between and 2 days off after the initial 10 treatments.
When do I start seeing results ?
Vision testing is done before the first acupuncture treatment, then another test done after 10 treatments. Most people experience vision improvement after the 10th treatment. We also recommend that you see your eye doctor before and after acupuncture treatments for a visual acuity test to better measure the results.
How long is the treatment ?
Do I need to return for maintenance treatments ?
It is recommended that you return in 3 months for a week of maintenance treatments and twice a year thereafter.
Is Acunova acupuncture a cure for my vision disorder ?
Most ophthalmological diseases that Acunova treats is degenerative in nature, therefore it gets worse with time and age. That is the main reason why we don't say it will cure, rather it will regain your vision or delay the vision loss process.
How Acunova acupuncture works for my vision ?
